Passover

We had such a lovely start to the week by learning about Passover. We made a baby Moses on the river, had a talk from a Rabbi all about Passover and some of the Jewish traditions, as well as making frogs, locusts, some Passover ICT games and making a Sedar plate.

We tried horseradish and grape juice! We learnt so much from the Rabbi.

Happy birthday to the Daily Mile!

We loved running with some of the mummies and daddies on our Daily Mile on Thursday! It was great fun to share one of our favourite parts of the day with them. All across the world, thousands of schools were celebrating 10 years since the initiative began.

Getting ready for our ballet exam and having a lot of fun in the process!

Sorting animals by what they eat!

We used the terms: herbivore, carnivore and omnivore to describe what animals eat. We sorted them into the groups.

Questions!

This week in English we have been learning about questions and question marks. We had lots of fun playing the question mark game! Is it a question or is it a fact?

One of my favourite teacher memories of all time were these questions that the children wrote for each other and then asked/answered them. There were so many giggles and some brilliant questions and answers!

What an amazing Space show today! We loved crawling into the dome and then watching the planets and stars above us! It was fun to remember lots of things we knew about Space from last term as well as learn some new facts! It really felt magical!
