Spring - Week 10

Rushall Farm Trip

What a brilliant day we had and the sun was out too!

Pond dipping

Bees Activity

Tractor time

Learning about what happens on the farm

Learning about how flour is made

Trailer ride

In Maths, we practised learning left and right by following directions around school to find a hidden letter.

In English, we finished our animal non-chronological reports and we checked them to make improvements.

In Science, we learnt about the properties of plastic and we have conducted a long term investigation by leaving some vegetable peelings, grass, paper and a plastic lid on some soil over the holidays. When we get back from our holidays, we will make observations to see which materials have decomposed and which have not. All the children predicted that the plastic will be there forever.

We learnt all about Holi Day and what happens during the celebrations of Holi in India and all around the world.

Elephant mask making

Elephant decorating

Holi Colour Run

Chapati making in the woods

In Woods, we created an Indian chapati to enoy some Indian cuisine on our Holi Day. Thank you, Mrs Rabbiosi for making the dough for us all!

We started our day with our annual Easter egg rolling event. Then, in class, we created some Easter chicks and made some mini-egg chocolate nests to start our Easter time, before having our sleepover as our end of term class treat!

Well done, Tristan and Daisy, for performing brilliantly in the end of term dance show!

Happy Birthday to John and Nico!
