It's been a busy week in the run up to the Show!
Great fun learning about the culture of Italy, including the rather delicious food that we "had" to try so that we could be fully immersed in the Italian culture!
Focaccia, olives, salami, mozzarella and pizza. Delicious!
World Book Day!
What great costumes on World Book Day. We loved talking about our books, hearing Sven read in Dutch from his book, learning from the author Julia Golding and best of all, taking part in the school parade to show off our costumes!
Julia Golding
Loving the costumes!
Great costumes from all of the teachers, including from Mr Graham and the kitchen!

Mothers' Day cards- no peeking, mummies until after Sunday!
What beautiful Mothers' Day cards for our wonderful mummies. There is a surprise under each petal.
THE show!
The children in Year 3 and 4 gave the most fantastic performances of The Jungle Book. As teachers we were all bursting with pride at their hard work, resilience, talents and confidence. They truly embraced our Thorngrove ethos.
There are so many wonderful photos that I can't put them all on the Blog, but they can be found here on Flickr.
Roman Day
Making edible Roman Roads
We have been writing our own stories inspired by the Iron Man this term. We have finally finished!
Easter fun!
We rounded off a fantastic term with a great Easter egg hunt and fun with our friends!
Skeletons!
The children have done a great job of completing the skeleton challenge- making a realistic skeleton from things found in their environment!
