Summer - Week 2
The Year 1s did a fabulous job teaching Thorngrove all about Earth Day and the things we can do to make our Earth better. Well done, Year 1!
In Maths, we have been learning to count in 2s and 10s.
In English, we have been describing Beegu and have started to create our LOST posters to see if anyone has seen Beegu around school.
In Science, we thought about the four different seasons and used collage to create a picture to represent a season.
In PSHE, we created a balanced diet plate of food.
We ended the week with learning about our sun, our Earth and the moon, the planets in our solar system and roleplay the first lunar landing by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
